One step is the first one!

Have you ever noticed that when you have a lot to say the words never come out right?  It's like there are so many dance steps you don't know which one to do first and you end up falling on your face?  That's been the balance of life right now.  Which do I do first?  They all seem so important but if I just start dancing something will come together.  It's better than not even getting on that stage!  So, with life. Say a little prayer, take that first step and if it's wrong just put in a new one. It's okay....

Steppin' up!

Life is about progression. Learn to to handle a mishap better. Be a little more compassionate. Find the good in the really ugly once in a while. Make each day a little better by stepping up the progression ladder one rung at a time...one step...one mistake...one joy at a time!

David Archuleta....a fine example of someone following the promptings of the Holy Ghost and not letting anyone else, even the pressure of the entertainment world, tell him otherwise! We await his grand entrance into his mission! Good luck, David or future "Elder Archuleta"!

Christmas! Why don't we just say it? At school I had to make sure all families were comfortable with me calling our party a "Christmas" party with Christmas games, Christmas foods and of course, work having to do with Christmas! All of this prancing around makes it hard to just enjoy the season. But, on the other hand, my job is to teach the students and not to have Christmas parties!

Nonetheless, Christmas is celebrated in my home, in my heart and in my world! We are having a party and I am tempted to have a lesson on storytelling using the story of Jesus' birth! Can they put the events in order?? What a great lesson, don't you think? Nah, I won't go there. But, I will say that this is the season to dance to the beat of your own drum. Doggone it, if I want to say "Merry Christmas" to the teller or salesperson, I WILL!!!!

First step of a new dance

What is my new dance? Whatever it is, today I took some well-needed steps towards the rest of my life, that dance. Do you have those days when you feel like you're at a stand still until you say a prayer and dive in! I wrote a letter that would make or break my future - that prescribed what the next few months are going to be like. Whatever the dance, I'll enjoy it. I have to...it's on a different stage. A bigger and better stage! Don't worry about the dance, just get out there and do it. Say your prayer and start moving...

New steps

I always thought life was a series of steps. We put enough beautiful ones together and we have choreography! Sometimes our movement is fluid and most times it is not. This is my view on life's steps and the dance of life. I hope you enjoy the show!
